My Thoughts exactly, this is more of a PSP- 2001 really.

Things that should be in the PSP 4000

    #1 dual analog sticks
#2 vibration via the use of two small actuators (as small as the ones in iPhone or RazrV3)
#3 Skype (already in the 2000)
#4 built in mic so we can hold it to our heads for VoiP calls
#5 keyboard attachment capability (sold seperately).

Actually, all this shoulda been in the 3000

2000 vs 3000 is only really a model number. The PS1 and PS2 went through several serial number variations with seemingly minor upgrades in between (I think the current PS2 model is SCPH-7000). Personally I wouldn't have expected the PSP to add things like touchscreen or 2nd analog stick to the PSP since it would change game comparability with older models; meaning that current PSP users would be forced to upgrade to be able to play games the utilize touchscreen etc. Perhaps in the PSP2. . .

The screen is a lot better, especially in sunlight, and the built-in mic should make Skpe calls easy, PS button, and the D-pad and buttons seem to be more profiled with the concave indentation in the middle. It seems to be a nice enough upgrade without an increase in price.

What is with all these people complaining about a second thumbstick? It would only get in the way... and if you've ever held a handheld gaming console, you would notice that they are held way differently than a standard controller...

Without some major improvements this is a waste of effort by Sony. They need 2nd analog stick, built in HD, and possibly even a touchscreen. Get rid of the worthless UMD and come up with some kind of store to download games, apps and movies directly from the PSP. Maybe then I would consider replaces my original PSP.

Yeah, but 360 is the most likely system to break in the world.

And THAT PSP is fake. Like I said 1000 times to everyone, Sony will release one that looks exactly the same as the Slim PSP (PSP-2000+) but just with a BUILT IN microphone.

They will also release a system update for the PS3, which will allow Skype to be put on (Skype is gay, in my opinion), and will release the FULL VERSION of PlayStation Home in early January. With PlayStation Home coming out, they will have no time for this new PSP, unless they stop working on the game that millions of people are going crazy for.
